Wildlife on Mull

The Isle of Mull is a wildlife watchers paradise! The sea around the island offers seals, whales, otters and dolphins.

The island is renowned for having two types of eagles in residence, the Sea and Golden Eagles, both of which can be seen soaring high in the skies overhead.

There are plenty of red deer, polecats, mink, rabbits and mountain hares.

On islands such as Staffa, in the Summer months, you will find Puffins in their hundreds with the brightly coloured beaks.

Fishing, mainly for trout is available in hilltop lochs, permits can be purchased in Tobermory.
